Welcome Bags are an essential detail in the any event planning process and should be carefully considered. For your out-of- town guests, welcome bags are the first reflection of your event. It is important to make a great first impression with your guests and provide them some much needed love after their day of travel.
At Sweet Servings we always include a drink! Your out-of- town guests who are staying at the hotel have traveled long and far for your big day, and they are sure to be thirsty! Include bottled water or a small bottle of wine. They are sure to appreciate a refreshing bottle of water while unpacking and settling in. Sweet and salty mix of snacks is a favorite for all guests. Chips and pretzels are wonderful items to include–but make sure to supplement these with an array of sweet snacks as well. Fruit snacks and cookies are just two great options to help diversify the offerings in the bag.
You might want to also consider toiletries and other personal items your guests might have forgotten to pack and need for the weekend event. If your event is outdoors we can include a travel size bottle of sunscreen in your welcome bags. Also, a single-dose pack of Advil or Tylenol is a great item to include which your guests will appreciate. And, for your out-of- town guests who are emotional, include a travel pack of tissues.
We customize your weekend schedule, directions, and things to do. It keeps your out- of-town guests occupied and informed. Remember Out-of- town guests often treat the weekend as a mini-vacation, so Sweet Servings puts a lot of thought into a “things to do” list which will give your guests some good suggestions on places to go and attractions to see while in the city.

Q: What shipping method do you use?
A: We partner with US Post Office to ship all of our welcome bags.
Q: Is there a shipping charge?
A: Ground Shipping is FREE with any order.* (Surcharge applies for shipments to HI and AK)
Q: Do you offer expedited shipping methods?
A: Absolutely! 2Day Air and Overnight Air are available for last minute orders.
Q: How quickly do you ship the welcome bags once I place my order?
A: Once order is placed your order will be processed we ship 6-10 days prior to your wedding guests’ arrival at the hotel. We target a delivery 3-4 days prior to your guests’ arrival.
Q: How can I track my order?
A: Once your welcome bags have shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number to track your package.
HOTEL SHIPPING QUESTIONS
Q: Should I tell my hotel that I have ordered welcome bags to be delivered there directly?
A: Yes, we strongly recommend that you inform your hotel’s event planner or manager that you will be having welcome bags delivered directly to the hotel. Be sure to ask the hotel representative about the hotel’s welcome bag handling/distribution policy and any associated fees.
Q: How should I fill out the Shipping Address information if I want my welcome bags delivered directly to my guests’ hotel?
A: Just tell us the address of where you would like them shipped. Before placing your order, ask your hotel’s event planner or manager how the package needs to be addressed to ensure it arrives to the hotel and is stored properly before guests’ arrival.
Q: What payment forms do you accept?
A: We accept Paypal and all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover).
Q: My event is still two months away...what happens if I place my order now?
A: This is perfectly fine! Just tell us the date of your guests’ arrival and we will time the processing and shipment of your order so that your welcome bags are delivered 3-4 days prior to your guests’ arrival.
Q: Will the welcome bags hold up during shipment?
A: Yes! We have developed a custom packaging system to provide maximum protection for our welcome bags during shipment to ensure they arrive in pristine condition.
Q: How do you include the documents that I’ve uploaded in the welcome bags?
A: Once you place your order we print the document/s you uploaded on standard 8.5”x11” paper and insert a copy in each of your welcome bags.
